Runs batted in RBI

RBI stands for runs batted in. Runs that scored because of a batter’s plate appearance.

How RBI is calculated

Counted. No RBI is credited when the run scores on an error or on a double play ground-out.

RBI depends on who bats ahead of you: the same hitter in a lineup that gets on base will drive in 30 more runs without changing anything he does.
