Home RunsHR
HR stands for home runs in baseball. A hit that lets the batter circle all four bases on his own, almost always by clearing the outfield fence.
How HR is calculated
Counted. Every home run is also a hit, a run scored and at least one RBI.
An inside-the-park home run counts the same as one hit over the wall; a ball that leaves the park on one bounce is a ground-rule double.
What counts as a good HR?
Half of the 425 qualified MLB players in 2026 were at or below 10. Clearing 24.6 put a season in the top tenth of the league.
