Walk Rate BB/PA
BB/PA stands for walk rate in baseball. The share of a hitter’s plate appearances that ended in a walk.
How BB/PA is calculated
It stabilises faster than almost any other batting number — around 120 plate appearances — so it says something real about a hitter long before his average does.
What counts as a good BB/PA?
