FGM stands for field goals made in basketball. Every made shot from the floor, two-pointers and three-pointers together.
How FGM is calculated
FGM = made twos + made threes. Free throws are not field goals.
What counts as a good FGM?
Half of the 424 qualified NBA players in 2025-26 were at or below 3.3 per game. Clearing 7.1 put a season in the top tenth of the league.
