TOT stands for total tackles in football. Plays a defender stopped, counting the ones he made alone and the ones he shared. Also called combined tackles. Other sites write it COMB.

Tackles are assigned by home-team statisticians and are the least standardised number in football — the same play is scored differently in different stadiums, so cross-team tackle comparisons are shaky.
What counts as a good TOT?
Half of the 1103 qualified NFL players in 2025 were at or below 20. Clearing 78 put a season in the top tenth of the league.
