Solo TacklesSOLO
Tackles a defender made alone, with no teammate sharing the credit. Also called unassisted tackles.
How SOLO is calculated
TOT = SOLO + AST, where AST is a tackle shared with a teammate.
Solo tackles are the steadier half of the tackle count: how freely assists are handed out varies from stadium to stadium.
