Stuff Yards STFYDS

STFYDS stands for stuff yards in football. Yards the offense lost on the runs this defender stopped at or behind the line of scrimmage.

How STFYDS is calculated

Totalled over the season. The stops themselves are counted as STF.

A stuff for no gain counts as a stop and no yards here, so a high number per stuff means the defender is meeting runners in the backfield rather than at the line.
