It is the number punters are judged on ahead of raw distance, because a 55-yard punt into the end zone nets 35 and a 45-yarder downed at the 3 nets 42.
What counts as a good IN20?
Half of the 28 qualified NFL players in 2025 were at or below 22.5. Clearing 30 put a season in the top tenth of the league.
