What does T mean in NFL standings?
T counts games that finished level after overtime — the NFL is the only one of the three leagues whose table needs the column.
How it is worked out
A tie counts as half a win and half a loss in PCT.
Overtime was cut from 15 minutes to 10 in 2017, so ties became more likely, not less: a drive that would have had time to answer in 2016 now often does not.
