What does PCT mean in the standings?

PCT is the share of games a club has won, written as a three-decimal figure with the nought dropped: .600 is six wins in ten.

How it is worked out

PCT = wins ÷ games played. The NFL counts a tie as half a win: (W + T ÷ 2) ÷ (W + L + T).

PCT, not the win column, is what orders a table: clubs play an uneven number of games through a season, and 8-4 stands above 9-6.
