Faceoffs Won FOW
FOW stands for faceoffs won in hockey. Faceoffs the player won: the puck dropped between two centres and his side came away with it.
How FOW is calculated
Counted. Faceoff percentage = faceoffs won ÷ (faceoffs won + faceoffs lost) × 100.
Centres take nearly all of them, so the list is a list of centres; a winger shows up only when he takes the draws on his line.
What counts as a good FOW?
Half of the 426 qualified NHL players in 2025-26 were at or below 47.5. Clearing 530.5 put a season in the top tenth of the league.
